S.I. No. 199/2000 - District Court (District No. 3) (Variation of Hours) Order, 2000.

1. (1) This Order may be cited as the District Court (District No. 3) (Variation of Hours) Order, 2000.

(2) This Order shall come into operation on the 1st day of September, 2000.

2. In this Order—

“Order of 1980” means the District Court Areas (Variation of Hours) (No. 2) Order, 1980 (

S.I. No. 149 of 1980

).

“Principal Order” means the District Court (Areas) Order, 1961 (

S.I. No. 5 of 1961

);

3. The First Schedule of the Principal Order is hereby amended by the substitution of “10.30 a.m.” for “11.00 a.m.” in column (4) at reference numbers 169 (as amended by the Order of 1980), 170, 171, 172, 173 (as amended by the Order of 1980), 174, 176 (as amended by the Order of 1980), 177, 180, 181, 183 (as amended by the Order of 1980), 184, 185, 186 and 187.

4. The Second Schedule of the Principal Order is hereby amended by the substitution of “10.30 a.m.” for “11.00 a.m.” in the column (4) at reference numbers 148, 149, 150 (as amended by the Order of 1980), 152 (as amended by the Order of 1980), 153, 156, 157, 158, 159, and 160,

5. Business transacted in the District Court which is initiated and is not completed before the commencement of this Order shall be continued and completed as if this Order had been in force at the time at which such business had been initiated.

This order provides for the sittings of the District Court, exercising its civil and summary jurisdiction, in the District Court Areas of Achill, Balla, Ballina, Ballinrobe, Ballycastle, Ballycroy, Belmullet, Castlebar, Crossmolina, Foxford, Killala, Kiltimagh, Newport, Swinford and Westport to commence at 10.30 a.m.
