1. This Order may be cited as the Appointment of Special Adviser Order, 2000.

2. The Government hereby appoints Mr. Gerry Steadman of 91 Coolamber Park, Knocklyon, Dublin 16 as Special Adviser to the Minister for Foreign Affairs.

WHEREAS the Minister for Foreign Affairs has made a request to the Government under

section 11

(1) of the

Public Service Management Act, 1997

(No. 27 of 1997)

NOW, the Government, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by

section 11

(1) of the

Public Service Management Act, 1997

, and pursuant to the request hereby order as follows
