1. This Order may be cited as the Bail Act, 1997 (Commencement) Order, 2000.

2. The 15th day of May, 2000, is hereby fixed as the day on which the

Bail Act, 1997

(No. 16 of 1997), in so far as it is not in operation, shall come into operation.
