S.I. No. 561/1998 - Horse Mackerel (Prohibition on Fishing) (Revocation) Order, 1998

1. This Order may be cited as the Horse Mackerel (Prohibition on Fishing) (Revocation) Order, 1998.

2. This Order shall come into operation on the 1st day of January, 1999.

3. The Horse Mackerel (Prohibition on Fishing) Order, 1998 (

S.I. No. 499 of 1998

) is hereby revoked.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

The effect of this Order is to permit the fishing for, transhipment or having on board horse mackerel by Irish sea-fishing boats, duly licensed, with effect from 1st day of January, 1999.
