1. This Order may be cited as the Regional Fisheries Boards (Postponement of Elections) Order, 1998.
2. The year 1999 is hereby fixed as the year in which the elections of members of regional boards (which, but for this Article, would fall to be held in the year 1998) shall be held.

EXPLANATORY NOTE
This Order provides for the postponement of elections for members of the Regional Fisheries Boards from 1998 to 1999.
I, MICHAEL WOODS, Minister for the Marine and Natural Resources, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by
section 15
of the
Fisheries Act, 1980
(No. 1 of 1980), and the Fisheries (Transfer of Departmental Administration and Ministerial Functions) Order, 1977 (

)), hereby order as follows
