1. This Order may be cited as the

Local Government Act, 1998

(Commencement) (No. 4) Order, 1998.

2. Sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 13 and 14 shall come into operation on the 1st day of January, 1999.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

This order brings into effect certain provisions of the

Local Government Act, 1998

in relation to the funding of local authorities.

Local Government Act, 1998

(No. 16 of 1998), hereby orders as follows
