S.I. No. 441/1998 - Road Traffic (Traffic and Parking) (Amendment) (No. 2) Regulations, 1998

1. (1) These Regulations may be cited as the Road Traffic (Traffic and Parking) (Amendment) (No. 2) Regulations, 1998.

(2) The collective citation "the Road Traffic (Traffic and Parking) Regulations, 1997 and 1998" shall include these Regulations.

2. Sub-articles (2), (3), and (4) of article 32 of the Road Traffic (Traffic and Parking) Regulations, 1997 (

S.I. No. 182 of 1997

) are hereby amended by the substitution of the words "a large public service vehicle" for the words "an omnibus".

3. These Regulations shall come into operation on the 23rd day of November, 1998.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

These Regulations amend the Road Traffic (Traffic and Parking) Regulations, 1997 to provide for the use of bus lanes by all large public service vehicles.
