1. This Order may be cited as the Housing (Traveller Accommodation) Act, (Commencement) (No. 2) Order, 1998.

Section 6
of the
Housing (Traveller Accommodation) Act, 1998
, shall come into operation on the 3rd day of November 1998.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.
Section 6 provides for the triennial statutory assessment of needs under
section 9
of the
Housing Act, 1988
to be carried out in an integrated and comprehensive way in relation to all the accommodation needs of travellers and in consultation with travellers.
