1. This Order may be cited as the

Europol Act, 1997

(Designation of National Unit) Order, 1998.

2. The Europol National Unit within the Garda Síochána is hereby designated as the national unit for the purposes of the

Europol Act, 1997

(No. 38 of 1997), and the Convention.

EXPLANATORY NOTE
