1. This Order may be cited as the

Defence (Amendment) Act, 1998

(Commencement) Order, 1998.

2. The 1st day of October, 1998, is hereby appointed as the day on which the

Defence (Amendment) Act, 1998

(No. 31 of 1998), shall come into operation.

GIVEN under my Official Seal, this 29 day of September, 1998.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

This Order provides that the

Defence (Amendment) Act, 1998

(No. 31 of 1998), shall come into operation on the 1st day of October, 1998.
