1. This Order may be cited as the

Bail Act, 1997

(Section 10) (Commencement) Order, 1998.

2. The 2nd day of June, 1998, is hereby fixed as the day on which

section 10

of the

Bail Act, 1997

(No. 16 of 1997), shall come into operation.
