1. This Order may be cited as the Haddock (Restriction on Fishing) (No. 6) Order, 1997.

2. In this order the specified area means the part of the sea described in the Annex to the Communication and therein referred to as ICES sub area VII (including Iv) (EC Zone );

3. This Order shall come into operation on the 1st day of September, 1997 and shall cease to have effect on the 30th September 1997.

4. The effect of this Order is to remove all restrictions in the fishery for the period referred to in paragraph 3 above.

Haddock (Restriction on Fishing ) (No. 6) Order, 1997

S.I. No. 385 of 1997.

The Minister for the Marine and Natural Resources Dr. Michael Woods T.D., has made the above named Order, the effect of which is to provide a new management regime for the haddock fishery with effect from the 1st day of September, 1997 to the 30th of September, 1997.

The effect of this Order is to permit the fishing for, transhipment or having on board haddock by Irish sea-fishing boats, duly licensed, with effect from 1st September 1997 to the 30th September 1997, both dates inclusive.
