S.I. No. 327/1997 - Statistics (Delegation of Ministerial Functions) Order, 1997

1. This Order may be cited as the Statistics (Delegation of Ministerial Functions) Order, 1997.

2. The powers and duties of the Taoiseach conferred on him by or under

(

a

) The

Statistics Act, 1993

(No. 21 of 1993), and

(

b

) the Civil Service Regulation Acts, 1956 and 1958, and the

Civil Service Commissioners Act, 1956

(No. 45 of 1956), in so far as those Acts relate to the Central Statistics Office,

are hereby delegated to Séamus Brennan, Minister of State at the Department of the Taoiseach.
