S.I. No. 27/1997 - District Court Districts and Areas (Section 26) (No. 8) Order, 1997.

1. (1) This Order may be cited as the District Court Districts and Areas (Section 26) (No. 8) Order, 1997.

(2) This Order shall come into operation on the 14th day of January, 1997.

2. The First Schedule to the District Court (Areas) Order, 1961 (

S.I. No. 5 of 1961

), is hereby amended by—

(

a

) the deletion of the matter in columns (2), (3), (4) and (5) at reference number 199,

(

b

) the substitution for the matter in column (5) at reference number 200 of the following

"the area comprising the District Electoral Divisions of Anketell Grove, Bellanode, Bragan, Castleshane, Clones, Derrygorry, Drumsnat, Emyvale, Enagh (Monaghan), Figullar, Glaslough, Killylough, Kilmore, Monaghan Rural, Monaghan Urban, Rackwallace, Scotstown, Shanmullagh, Sheskin, Tedavnet, Tehallan, Aghabog, Clones Rural, Clones Urban, Currin, Drum, Drumhillagh, Drummully, Killeevan, Killynenagh, Newbliss and St. Tierney in the county of Monaghan.",

3. The Second Schedule to the District Court (Areas) Order, 1961, is hereby amended by—

) the deletion of the matter in columns (2), (3), (4) and (5) at reference number 169,.

) the substitution for the matter in column (5) at reference number 170 of the following

) The Schedule to the District Court Areas (Amendment) Order, 1970 (

S.I. No. 161 of 1970

), is hereby amended in column 4 at reference number 5 by the deletion of—

(i) "Clones", and

(ii) "199",

5. Business transacted in the District Court which is initiated and not completed before the commencement of this Order shall be continued and completed as if this Order had been in force at the time at which such business had been initiated.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

This Order provides for the abolition of the District Court Area of Clones and the amalgamation of the District Electoral Divisions which comprised that Area with the District Court Area of Monaghan.
