1. These Regulations may be cited as the

Irish Takeover Panel Act, 1997

(Prescribed Stock Exchange) Regulations, 1997.

2. These Regulations shall come into operation on the 1st day of July, 1997.

3. In these Regulations "Irish Stock Exchange" has the meaning assigned to it by

section 3

(1) of the

Stock Exchange Act, 1995

(No. 9 of 1995).

4. The Irish Stock Exchange is hereby prescribed as a stock exchange for the purposes of the

Irish Takeover Panel Act, 1997

(No. 5 of 1997).
