1. This Order may be cited as the

Prompt Payment of Accounts Act, 1997

(Commencement) Order, 1997.

2. The 2nd day of January, 1998, is hereby appointed as the day on which the

Prompt Payment of Accounts Act, 1997

(No. 31 of 1997), shall come into operation.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.
