1. (1) This Order may be cited as the

Regional Technical Colleges Act, 1992

(Amendment) (No. 2) Order, 1997.

(2) This Order shall come into operation on the 7th day of May, 1997.

2. (1) The name of the college known as the Regional Technical College, Waterford, in the English language and as Coláiste Teicniúil Réigiúnach, Port Lairge, in the Irish language, is hereby changed to the Waterford Institute of Technology, in the English language and to Institiúid Teicneolaíochta Port Lairge, in the Irish language.

(2) The First Schedule to the

Regional Technical Colleges Act, 1992

, is hereby amended in column (1) by the substitution for "Coláiste Teicniúil Réigiúnach, Port Láirge. Regional Technical College, Waterford." of "Institiúid Teicneolaíochta Port Láirge. Waterford Institute of Technology.".
