1. This Order may be cited as the

Gas (Amendment) Act, 1987

(Section 2 (7)) (Amendment) Order, 1997.

2. This Order shall come into operation on the 11th day of March, 1997.

), is hereby amended by the substitution of the following Schedule for the Schedule to that Order (inserted by the

Gas (Amendment) Act, 1987

The geographical counties of Carlow, Cavan, Clare, Cork, Dublin, Kildare, Kilkenny, Laois, Limerick, Louth, Meath, Tipperary, Waterford and Wicklow.

All the functions contained in this Order.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

This Order further amends the Schedule to the

Gas (Amendment) Act, 1987

(Section 2) Order, 1987 by the substitution of a new Schedule containing additional areas where the functions conferred by the 1987 Order on Bord Gais Éireann may be exercised.
