S.I. No. 111/1997 - District Court Areas (Variation of Days and Hours) (No. 2) Order, 1997

1. (1) This Order may be cited as the District Court Areas (Variation of Days and Hours) (No. 2) Order, 1997.

(2) This Order shall come into operation on the 2nd day of April, 1997.

2. In this Order "the Principal Order" means the District Court (Areas) Order, 1961 (

S.I. No. 5 of 1961

).

3. The First Schedule to the Principal Order is hereby amended by the substitution for the matter in column (4) (as amended by the District Court Areas (Variation of Days and Hours) (No. 2) Order, 1969 (

S.I. No. 31 of 1969

), the District Court Areas (Variation of Days and Hours) (No. 3) Order, 1984 (

S.I. No. 216 of 1984

), the District Court Districts and Areas (Amendment) and Variation of Days and Hours Order, 1988 (

S.I. No. 9 of 1988

) and the District Court Areas (Variation of Days and Hours) Order, 1997 (

S.I. No. 82 of 1997

)) at reference number 153 of the following

"Each Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday at 10.30 a.m., 11.00 a.m., 12 noon and 2.30 p.m."

4. Business transacted in the District Court which is initiated and is not completed before the commencement of this Order shall be continued and completed as if this Order had been in force at the time at which such business had been initiated.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

This Order provides for the days and hours for the holding of the District Court in the District Court Area of Limerick City.
