S.I. No. 71/1996 - European Communities (Importation of Cattle From The United Kingdom) Regulations, 1996.

1. (1) These Regulations may be cited as the European Communities (Importation of Cattle from the United Kingdom) Regulations, 1996.

(2) These Regulations shall come into operation on the 26th day of March, 1996.

2. The European Communities (Importation of Cattle from the United Kingdom) Regulations, 1995 (

S.I. No. 152 of 1995

) are hereby revoked.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

These Regulations revoke the European Communities (Importation of Cattle from the United Kingdom) Regulations, 1995 (

S.I. No. 152 of 1995

). The importation of cattle from the United Kingdom is accordingly prohibited except under licence.
