S.I. No. 46/1996 - Family Law Act, 1995 (Commencement) Order, 1996

1. This Order may be cited as the Family Law Act, 1995 (Commencement) Order, 1996.

2. The 1st day of August, 1996 is hereby fixed as the day on which the

Family Law Act, 1995

(No. 26 of 1995), shall come into operation.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

This Order fixes the 1st August, 1996 as the date on which the

Family Law Act, 1995

comes into operation.
