1. These Regulations may be cited as the
Consumer Credit Act, 1995
(Section 60) (No. 2) Regulations, 1996.
2. Paragraph 2 of the Fifth Schedule to the
Consumer Credit Act, 1995
(No. 24 of 1995), is hereby amended -
(
a
) by the insertion in subparagraph (
a
)(ii) after "the total amount" of "which he has paid", and
(
b
) by the substitution for subparagraph (
b
) of the following subparagraph
"(b) purchase the goods by paying the difference between the amount already paid under this agreement and either the hire-purchase price reduced in arrordance with
section 52
or
53
of the
Consumer Credit Act, 1995
, or such lesser amount if specified in this agreement.".
