1. This Order may be cited as the

Waste Management Act, 1996

(Commencement) Order, 1996.

2. The

Waste Management Act, 1996

(other than sections 6 (2), 32 (2), 57 and 58) shall come into operation on the 1st day of July, 1996.

this 24th day of June, 1996.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

This Order brings into operation the

Waste Management Act, 1996

(No. 10 of 1996), except sections 6 (2), 32 (2), 57 and 58, on the 1st of July, 1996.

The Minister for the Environment, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by

section 1

of the

Waste Management Act, 1996

(No. 10 1996), hereby orders as follows
