1. These Regulations may be cited as the

Criminal Justice Act, 1994

(Section 44) Regulations, 1996.

2. These Regulations shall come into operation on the 14th day of June, 1996.

3. The sum of £5,000 is hereby prescribed as the prescribed sum for the purposes of

section 38

of the

Criminal Justice Act, 1994

.

(No. 15 of 1994), hereby make the following Regulations with respect to which, pursuant to that section, a draft has been laid before each House of the Oireachtas and a resolution approving of the draft has been passed by each such House
