1. These Regulations may be cited as the
Consumer Credit Act, 1995
(Section 86) Regulations, 1996.

Section 84
of the
Consumer Credit Act, 1995
(No. 24 of 1995), is hereby amended by the substitution in—
(
a
) subsection (1) (
a
) (ii) of "hirer" for "buyer",
(
b
) subsection (1) (
b
) (ii) of "owner" for "seller", and
(
c
) subsection (5) (
a
) of "owner" for "seller".
