1. (1) These Regulations may be cited as the European Communities (Pesticide Residues) (Cereals) (Amendment), Regulations, 1995, and shall come into operation on 1st July, 1995.
(2) The European Communities (Pesticide Residues) (Cereals) Regulations 1988 and 1993, and these Regulations, may be cited as the European Communities (Pesticide Residues) (Cereals) Regulations 1988 to 1995, and shall be construed as one.
2. In these Regulations—
"the Principal Regulations" means the European Communities (Pesticide Residues) (Cereals) Regulations, 1988 (
S.I. No. 216 of 1988
).
"the Regulations of 1993" means the European Communities (Pesticide Residues) (Cereals) (Amendment) Regulations, 1993 (
S.I. No. 316 of 1993
).

3. The Schedule to Principal Regulations is hereby amended by

EXPLANATORY NOTE.
These regulations amend existing ones by setting maximum pesticide residue limits for a further 12 active substances in Annex II.
