S.I. No. 98/1992 - Road Traffic (Speed Limits) (County Borough of Cork and County of Cork) (Amendment) Regulations, 1992.

1. (1) These Regulations may be cited as the Road Traffic (Speed Limits) (County Borough of Cork and County of Cork) Regulations, 1992.

(2) The Road Traffic (Speed Limits) (County Borough of Cork and County of Cork) Regulations, 1986 and these Regulations shall be construed together and may be cited collectively as the Road Traffic (Speed Limits) (County Borough of Cork and County of Cork) Regulations, 1986 to 1992.

2. In these Regulations "the Principal Regulations" means the Road Traffic (Speed Limits) (County Borough of Cork and County of Cork) Regulations, 1986 (

S.I. No. 457 of 1986

).

3. Reference 4 of the First Schedule to the Principal Regulations is hereby amended by the addition thereto of the following paragraph

"(

) The Southern Ring Road".

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

The Regulations amend the Road Traffic (Speed Limits) (County Borough of Cork and County of Cork) Regulations, 1986 by removing the built-up area speed limit of 30 mph on these sections of the Southern Ring Road lying within the County Borough of Cork.
