S.I. No. 85/1992 - Local Government (Certificate of Rateable Value) (Amendment) Order, 1992.

1. This Order may be cited as the Local Government (Certificate of Rateable Value) (Amendment) Order, 1992.

2. In this Order the expression "the Principal Order" means the order made by the Local Government Board for Ireland on the 28th day of March, 1906 pursuant to subsection (10) of section 54 of the Local Government (Ireland) Act, 1898.

3. There shall be substituted for the figure of "two pounds" in article 3 of the Principal Order (as substituted by article 4 of the Local Government (Certificate of Rateable Value) (Amendment) Order, 1980 hereinafter called "the Order of 1980") [

] the figure of "five pounds".

4. The Order of 1980 is hereby revoked and rescinded.

5. This Order shall come into operation on the 1st day of May, 1992.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

This Order amends the Principal Order made by the Local Government Board of Ireland on the 28th day of March, 1906 under section 54 (10) of the Local Government (Ireland) Act, 1898 which prescribes the payment for a certificate of rateable value.
