1. This Order may be cited as the

Section 7

(4) of the

Central Bank Act, 1971

(inserted by

section 30

of the

Central Bank Act, 1989

) is hereby amended by the addition to paragraph (

a

) (ii) of "ICC Investment Bank Limited".

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

This Order provides for the addition of ICC Investment Bank Limited, (which is a wholly owned subsidiary of the ICC Bank public limited company) to

Section 30

of the

Central Bank Act, 1989

. The effect of this addition is that ICC Investment Bank Limited does not require a licence from the Central Bank for the purpose of carrying on banking business.
