SOCIAL WELFARE ACT, 1992 (SECTION 27) (COMMENCEMENT) ORDER, 1992.

The Minister for Social Welfare, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by

section 27

of the

Social Welfare Act, 1992

(No. 5 of 1992), hereby orders as follows—

1 Citation.

This order may be cited as the

Social Welfare Act, 1992

(Section 27) (Commencement) Order, 1992.

2 Commencement.

Section 27

of the

Social Welfare Act, 1992

shall come into operation on the 29th day of July 1992.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

This Order brings

Section 27

of the

Social Welfare Act, 1992

into effect from 29th July, 1992.

Section 27 replaces the Unemployment Assistance chapter of the Social Welfare Acts and contains a number of amendments to the Unemployment Assistance Scheme.
