S.I. No. 4/1990 - Pounds (Amendment) Regulations, 1990.

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Pounds (Amendment) Regulations, 1990.

2. The Pounds Regulations, 1985 (

S.I. No. 306 of 1985

), and these Regulations may be cited together as the Pounds Regulations, 1985 and 1990.

3. The

Interpretation Act, 1937

(No. 38 of 1937), applies to these Regulations.

4. The Pounds Regulations, 1985, shall have effect, in relation to animals and chattels impounded on or after the 22nd day of January, 1990, as if the following Schedule were substituted for the Second Schedule to the Pounds Regulations, 1985
