1. These Regulations may be cited as the Arterial Drainage Acts, 1945 and 1955 (Environmental Impact Assessment) Regulations, 1990.
2. Where a drainage scheme prepared in accordance with Section 4 (as amended by the European Communities (Environmental Impact Assessment) Regulations, 1989) of the
Arterial Drainage Act, 1945
, contains an environmental impact statement, a copy of such statement shall be sent to each Department of State.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.
These Regulations prescribe bodies to which copies of an environmental impact statement prepared in respect of proposed arterial drainage works must be sent and, as such, give effect to the provisions of the European Communities (Environmental Impact Assessment) Regulations, 1989 (
