S.I. No. 225/1990 - Plaice (Restriction on Fishing) (Amendment) Order, 1990.

1. This Order may be cited as the Plaice (Restriction on Fishing) (Amendment) Order, 1990.

2. This Order shall come into operation on the 7th day of September, 1990 and cease to have effect from the 1st day of January, 1991.

3. The Plaice (Restriction on Fishing) Order, 1990 is hereby amended by the deletion of Article 8.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

The effect of this Order is to amend the Plaice (Restriction on Fishing) Order, 1990 to prohibit the landing, transhipment or retention on board of a by-catch of plaice in ICES Divisions VIIf) and VIIg) with effect from 7th September, 1990 until 31st of December 1990, both dates inclusive.
