1. This Order may be cited as the

Insurance Act, 1990

(Commencement) Order, 1990.

2. The 1st day of August, 1990 is hereby appointed as the day on which the

Insurance Act, 1990

(No. 26 of 1990) shall come into operation.

GIVEN under my Official Seal, this 26th day of July, 1990.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

This Order brings into operation the

Insurance Act, 1990

with effect from 1st August, 1990.
