1. This Order may be cited as the

International Carriage of Perishable Foodstuffs Act, 1987

(Authorised Person) Order, 1989, and shall come into operation on the 22nd day of March, 1989.

2. Eolas — The Irish Science and Technology Agency is hereby authorised to act on behalf of the Minister for Tourism and Transport for the purposes of subsections (1) to (3) of

section 6

of the

International Carriage of Perishable Foodstuffs Act, 1987

(No. 20 of 1987).
