S.I. No. 337/1989 - Fishery Harbour Centre (Dunmore East) Order, 1989.

1. This Order may be cited as the Fishery Harbour Centre (Dunmore East) Order, 1989 and shall come into operation on the 1st day of January 1990.

2. In this Order "the Commissioners" means the Commissioners of Public Works in Ireland.

3. The area defined in Article 4 of this Order is hereby declared to be a fishery harbour centre and is referred to in this Order as Dunmore East Fishery Harbour Centre.

4. That part of Dunmore East Harbour and of the land adjoining it within the outer margin of the red line on the map annexed to this Order is hereby defined as the area of Dunmore East Harbour Centre.

5. All the property (real and personal) in Dunmore East Fishery Harbour Centre of the Commissioners and all rights and liabilities of the Commissioners in their capacity as managing authority for Dunmore East Harbour in or relating to Dunmore East Fishery Harbour Centre are hereby transferred to the Minister for the Marine.

6. The Commissioners, in their capacity as managing authority for Dunmore East Harbour, shall cease to exercise or carry out any powers, functions or duties in relation to Dunmore East Fishery Harbour Centre.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

The effect of this Order is to declare Dunmore East Harbour to be a Fishery Harbour Centre, to define the area of the Fishery Harbour Centre and to transfer the ownership and management of the Fishery Harbour Centre from the Commissioners of Public Works to the Minister for the Marine.

The Minister for the Marine, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by subsection (1) of

section 2

Fishery Harbour Centres Act, 1968

(No. 18 of 1968), and the Fisheries (Transfer of Departmental Administration and Ministerial Functions) Order, 1977 (

)), and after due compliance with subsection (6) of the said section 2, hereby orders as follows
