1. This Order may be cited as the Sea Fisheries (Conservation and Rational Exploitation) (Amendment) Order, 1987.

2. The Sea Fisheries (Conservation and Rational Exploitation) Order, 1987 (

), is hereby amended by the substitution for Article 2 of the following Article

"2. In this Order "the Council Regulation" means Council Regulation (E.E.C.) No. 3094/86 of 7 October, 1986

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

The effect of this Order is to prescribe and adopt Council Regulation (EEC) 4026/86 of 18 December, 1986 which, in so far as Ireland is concerned, permits the continued use of nets with a minimum mesh size of 80mm south of the parallel of 56N.
