1. This Order may be cited as the Energy (Delegation of Ministerial Functions) Order, 1987.

2. All powers and duties of the Minister for Energy conferred on him by or under the Forestry Acts, 1946 to 1976, are hereby delegated to Michael Smith, Minister of State at the Department of Energy.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

This Order formally delegates to Michael Smith T.D., Minister of State, at the Department of Energy, the powers and duties of the Minister under the Acts specified in the Order.

The Government, on the request of the Minister for Energy and in exercise of the powers conferred on them by

section 2

of the

Ministers and Secretaries (Amendment) (No. 2) Act, 1977

(No. 28 of 1977), hereby order as follows
