1. This Order may be cited as the

Prisons Act, 1970

(Section 7) Order, 1987.

2. In this Order "the Order of 1986" means the

Prisons Act, 1970

(Section 7) Order, 1986 (

S.I. No. 97 of 1986

).

3. The

Prisons Act, 1970

(Section 7) Order, 1985 (

S.I. No. 118 of 1985

), is hereby amended by the substitution for paragraph 2 (inserted by the Order of 1986) of Article 3 of the following paragraph

"(2) The section shall be in operation for the period of three years commencing on the 26th day of April, 1985, and shall cease to be in operation upon the expiration of that period".

4. The Order of 1986 is hereby revoked.

This Order continues in operation

Section 7

for a further period of twelve months.
