), is hereby amended by the substitution for the definition in Article 2 of "the Council Regulation" of the following definition—

"the Council Regulation" means Council Regulation (EEC) No. 2057/82 of 29 June, 1982

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

The effect of this Order is to make any infringement of Council Regulation (EEC) 3723/85 (which extends the operation of the EEC logbook system to include records of transhipments to and from vessels in Irish and Foreign waters, including to and from processing vessels and to ensure comprehensive reports of transhipments by skippers of fishing vessels and fish processing vessels) an offence in so far as the Regulation applies within the jurisdiction of the State or to an Irish sea fishing boat.
