S.I. No. 403/1986 - Disabled Persons (Maintenance Allowances) (No. 2) Regulations, 1986.

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Disabled Persons (Maintenance Allowances) (No. 2) Regulations, 1986.

2. Where a person is or becomes entitled to payment of a maintenance allowance under

section 69

of the

Health Act, 1970

in accordance with the Disabled Persons (Maintenance Allowances) Regulations, 1984 and 1986 to or in respect of himself or his dependants, in respect of the week ending on 5th day of December, 1986 any amount so payable for that week shall be increased by a sum equal to sixty-five per cent of that amount.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

The effect of these Regulations is to increase, in respect of the week ending 5th December, 1986 the maximum weekly rate of maintenance allowance payable under

section 69

of the

Health Act, 1970

, by a sum equal to sixty-five per cent of that amount.
