2. The first day of July, 1986, is hereby appointed to be the vesting day for the purposes of the

Canals Act, 1986

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

This Order appoints 1 July 1986 as the vesting day, under the

Canals Act, 1986

, for the transfer of the Royal Canal and the Grand Canal (including the Barrow Navigation) and associated property, etc., from Córas Iompair Éireann to the Commissioners of Public Works in Ireland.
