1. This Order may be cited as the

Local Government (Roads and Motorways) Act, 1974

(Declaration of National Roads) Order, 1986.

2. (1) In this Order "the Principal Order" means the

Local Government (Roads and Motorways) Act, 1974

(Declaration of National Roads) Order, 1977 (

S.I. No. 164 of 1977

).

(2) This Order and the

Local Government (Roads and Motorways) Act, 1974

(Declaration of National Roads) Orders 1977 and 1980 may be collectively cited as the

Local Government (Roads and Motorways) Act, 1974

(Declaration of National Roads) Orders 1977 to 1986.

3. The public road described in the Schedule to this Order shall be a National Road.

4. The reference in Column 2 of the Schedule to this Order to "N 70" shall be a reference to the Number of that Road as shown in Column 1 of the Second Schedule to the Principal Order.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.
