1. (1) This Order may be cited as the District Court Areas (Variation of Hours) Order, 1985.
(2) This Order shall come into operation on the 1st day of April, 1985.
2. In this Order "the Principal Order" means the District Court (Areas) Order, 1961 (
S.I. No. 5 of 1961
).
3. The First Schedule to the Principal Order is hereby amended by—
(
a
) the substitution in column (4) at reference number 29 of "11 a.m." for "11.30 a.m." (as varied by the District Court Areas (Variation of Hours) Order, 1972 (
S.I. No. 11 of 1972
)).
(
b
) the substitution in column (4) at reference number 34 of "11.30 a.m." for "12 noon",
(
c
) the substitution in column (4) at reference number 42 of "11 a.m." for "12 noon".
(
d
) the substitution in column (4) at reference number 48 of "11 a.m." for "11.30 a.m.",
(
e
) the substitution in column (4) at reference number 52 of "11 a.m." for "11.30 a.m.", and
(
f
) the substitution in column (4) at reference number 53 of "11 a.m." for "11.30 a. m.".
4. The Second Schedule to the Principal Order is hereby amended by—
(
a
) the substitution in column (4) at reference number 24 of "11 a.m." for "11.30 a.m." (as varied by the District Court Areas (Variation of Hours) Order, 1972 (
S.I. No. 11 of 1972
)) ,
(
b
) the substitution in column (4) at reference number 29 of "11.30 a.m." for "12 noon",
(
c
) the substitution in column (4) at reference number 37 of "11 a.m." for "12 noon",
(
d
) the substitution in column (4) at reference number 43 of "11 a.m." for "11.30",
(
e
) the substitution in column (4) at reference number 47 of "11 a.m." for "11.30 a.m.", and
(
f
) the substitution in column (4) at reference number 48 of "11 a.m." for "11.30.".
5. Business transacted in the District Court which is initiated but not completed before the commencement of this Order shall be continued and completed as if this Order had been in force at the time at which such business had been initiated.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.
This Order provides for an earlier start for the sittings of the District Court in Bantry, Castletownbere, Glengarriff, Millstreet, Schull and Skibbereen.
