1. This Order may be cited as the

(Commencement) Order, 1985.

2. The 20th day of September, 1985, is hereby appointed as the day on which the

Animals Act, 1985

, shall come into operation.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

This Order brings the

Animals Act, 1985

, into operation on the 20th day of September, 1985. The Act amends the law relating to impounding of animals and liability for damage done by animals.
