1. (1) This Order may be cited as the District Court Areas (Variation of Days and Hours) (No. 3) Order, 1984.

(2) This Order shall come into operation on the 1st day of September, 1984.

2. In this Order "the Principal Order" means the District Court (Areas) Order, 1961 (

).

3. The First Schedule to the Principal Order is hereby amended by—

(

a

) the substitution in column (4) at reference number 153 of "First Wednesday in each month at 10.30 a.m. (Children's Court) and first Wednesday in each month at 2.30 p.m., third Wednesday in each month at 10.30 a.m. and 2.30 p.m., each Thursday at 10.30 a.m., 12 noon and 2.30 p.m., second Tuesday in February, April, June, October and December at 10.30 a.m., and the fourth Tuesday in each month at 10.30 a.m. and 2.30 p.m.," for "Each Friday at 10.30 a.m., first Saturday in each month at 10.30 a.m. (Children's Court) and third Wednesday in each month at 10.30 a.m." (inserted by the District Court Areas (Variation of Days and Hours) (No. 2) Order, 1969 (

5. Business transacted in the District Court which is initiated and not completed before the commencement of this Order shall be continued and completed as if this Order had been in force at the time at which such business had been initiated.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

This order provides for a variation in the present arrangements for the holding of sittings of the District Court in the District Court Areas of Limerick City, Thurles, Nenagh, Cappawhite, Newport and Cappamore in District No. 14.
