1. These Regulations may be cited as the Redundancy Payments (Employer's Redundancy Contribution) Regulations, 1983.

2. The Redundancy Payments (Variation of Employer's Redundancy Contribution) Regulations, 1982 (

S.I. No. 75 of 1982

), are hereby amended by the substitution of the following paragraph for paragraph (2) of Regulation 1

"(2) These Regulations shall come into operation on the 6th day of April, 1982".

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

The effect of these Regulations is to continue the percentage rate of 0.01 of PRSI reckonable earnings which employers are required to pay as contributions to the Redundancy Fund under the Redundancy Payments Acts, 1967 to 1979.
