S.I. No. 148/1983 - Registration of Births, Deaths and Marriages (Reduced Fees) (Amendment) Regulations, 1983.

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Registration of Births, Deaths and Marriages (Reduced Fees) (Amendment) Regulations, 1983.

2. These Regulations shall come into operation on the 13th day of June, 1983.

3. The Registration of Births, Deaths and Marriages (Reduced Fees) Regulations 1982 (

S.I. No. 46 of 1982

) are hereby amended by the substitution in Articles 3 (

a

) and 5 of "fifty pence" for "twenty-five pence".

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

The effect of this Order is to increase to 50p from the 13th June, 1983 the fee payable for birth, death and marriage certificates issued at reduced rates for the purposes of certain enactments.
