1. This Order may be cited as the Cork District Milk Board (Minimum Prices for Milk) Order, 1983, and shall come into operation on the 30th day of May, 1983.

2. In this Order—

"registered producers" means persons registered in the register of producers kept by the Cork District Milk Board;

"registered retailers" means persons registered in the register of retailers kept by the Cork District Milk Board;

"registered wholesalers" means persons registered in the register of wholesalers kept by the Cork District Milk Board.

3. The

Interpretation Act, 1937

(No. 38 of 1937), applies to this Order.

4. The Cork District Milk Board (Minimum Prices for Milk) Order, 1982 (

), is hereby revoked.

5. The minimum prices to be paid to registered producers for milk sold by them to registered wholesalers and retailers shall be at the rates shown in the Schedule to this Order.

Price per gallon (whether supplied at the registered premises of the producer, or at a collection place agreed on with the purchaser, or otherwise supplied).

This order prescribes the minimum prices to be paid to registered producers, as from 30th May 1983 for milk sold by them to registered wholesalers and registered retailers in the Cork District.

CORK DISTRICT MILK BOARD (MINIMUM PRICES FOR MILK) ORDER, 1983.

I, AUSTIN DEASY, Minister for Agriculture, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by

section 43

of the

Milk (Regulation of Supply and Price) Act, 1936

(No. 43 of 1936), and

section 22

of the

Milk (Regulation of Supply and Price) (Amendment) Act, 1941

(No. 11 of 1941), and the Agriculture and Fisheries (Alteration of Name of Department and Title of Minister) Order, 1977 (

), hereby order as follows:—
