1. This Scheme may be cited as the Coras Iompair Eireann Superannuation Scheme, 1951 (Amendment) Scheme, 1982.

2. Rule 21 (7) (

) of the Coras Iompair Eireann Superannuation Scheme, 1951 (inserted by Paragraph 3 of the scheme contained in the Schedule to the C.I.E. Superannuation Scheme, 1951 (Amendment) Scheme, 1981 (Confirmation) Order, 1981 (

) shall, during the period beginning on the 1st day of March, 1982, and ending on the 28th day of February, 1985, be construed and have effect as if the reference therein to the 1st day of March, 1982, were a reference to the 1st day of March, 1985.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

The purpose of the scheme is to provide for the reduction, under certain conditions, of the retiring ages prescribed in the existing scheme, to allow for voluntary early retirement on redundancy.
